Recently, a buddy of mine sent me a text giving me a good idea for a YouTube video series. I sat and thought about it for awhile, and I decided that I’d approach it as a blog series first. Perhaps when the weather gets nicer in a few months I’ll turn it into a video series, but I don’t want to hold out on sharing this information with the people that may want it. In this multiple part series, I’m going to be covering all of Discmania’s available discs – beginning with their putters, continuing on to their mid ranges, fairway drivers, and finally their distance drivers. If you’re currently a ..read more

The Discmania Razor Claw is Eagle McMahon’s newest signature series disc. The Razor Claw is an overstable approach disc and it’s stock name is the Evolution Tactic. Available only when purchasing a Black Edition Mystery Box, the Razor Claw was offered in two plastic types – Vapor, which is a burst-type Lux plastic, and a Pure White Lux plastic. Everyone on the internet has been asking if the Razor Claw is a Harp or a Zone. To help answer the question, I decided to feature the Harp and the Zone in this review. We’ll take a look at the profiles of the three discs as well as their flight char ..read more

The First Annual Prodigy Games
Caddie Disc Golf Blog
by Caddie Disc Golf

Back in October, I had the opportunity to photograph the First Annual Prodigy Games presented by Just Throw Disc Golf. The B-tier took place at Silver Creek in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, home of the talented Alyssa Van Lanen. This is the same course that Silver Cup, one of Wisconsin’s best A-tiers, is held. This was definitely one of those tournaments that made photographing the event or competing in the event difficult! I had a blast being there to take pictures on a beautiful fall Saturday and am looking forward to attending the next. Check out the shots from the event! To connect with me ..read more

Discmania Active Premium Sensei Review
Caddie Disc Golf Blog
by Caddie Disc Golf

The Sensei by Discmania Active is Discmania’s most recent mystery release found in this year’s fall Mystery Boxes. It’s the exact same mold as the Tiger Warrior, making the numbers 3 3 0 1. The biggest difference besides the name is the fact that it’s released in the new Active Premium plastic, which is comparable to C-line. In this review, I share the profile, the artwork, and some throws in comparison to the Tiger Warrior. As of right now, the Sensei is only available when purchasing a Discmania Mystery Box. The second edition mystery boxes are out currently and the third editions will be ..read more

The Innova Starter Pack is a fantastic gift to give to someone who is looking to get into the sport of disc golf. For fun, I decided to film a round at my local course with a set. As brutal as it was, it was fun to see how odd super light discs fly. Thanksgiving is coming up, and I’m so thankful for the support Caddie Disc Golf has had this year. I started Caddie as a platform to help grow the sport, and to say thanks for supporting me, I’m going to help you get someone new in your life into our sport by giving away an Innova Starter Pack! Discmania Swirly CD2 – Roaming Thunder 2 Review
Caddie Disc Golf Blog
by Caddie Disc Golf
4y ago
The Discmania Roaming Thunder 2 is Dana Vicich’s second signature series disc. The Roaming Thunder 2 flies a lot more like a CD2 should – straight and controllably. Rated at 9 5 -1 2, the Roaming Thunder 2 is a low speed distance driver perfect for anyone. For fast arm speed players, you’ll be able to hyzer flip this disc for big turnovers or power down for a controlled flex shot that goes far. For slow arm speed players, you’ll be able to launch this disc flat and get a solid flex flight. Despite it being a 9 speed, they go faaaar. Available Thursday, September 26th at your local Discma ..read more
