One day in 1999 Shelia had a sudden onset of severe pain in the rectum, by the end of that day she was in surgery to remove a very large abscess that came out of nowhere very quickly. Symptoms persisted, she was dropping weight and was accused by a doctor of causing her own issues by making herself throw up to lose weight.
