Airwaves Facilities Management has won a new contract with West Midlands Police following a competitive tender process. The contract will see the Berkswell-based firm providing grounds maintenance works throughout the force’s estate in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley and Solihull, including key sites at Tally Ho and Balsall Common. Lovat’s wins hard FM deal with National Records of Scotland

Building services company, Lovat’s Group, has secured a £7 million contract to provide hard FM services to the National Records of Scotland Estate. The contract, which will run until 2029, and comes with two one-year extensions, will see Lovat’s Group providing electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fabric planned and reactive maintenance, 24/7 helpdesk and emergency services, energy management, and project and minor works management. Drainage and plumbing firm, Jet Through, has secured a six-figure, three-year deal to service nationwide nursery chain, Busy Bees. ISS has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) RM6331 Healthcare Soft FM Framework, with ISS Mediclean Limited listed against four lots covering various soft FM services. Seventy per cent of maintenance professionals state that staying compliant is the most significant problem in their business, according to a recent poll by SFG20.
