Our hook of the month for April is our barbless Czech Nymph Hook. This hook is incredibly versatile and can be used for a wide range of nymphs and dries to achieve a curved body effect. Scuds and caddis are obvious examples here, but it’s also excellent for tying realistic mayflies as well. But don’t stop there! This is also a great hook for tying emergers and dry flies. Due to its curved shape, it allows you to tie patterns that sit deeper in the film. This makes it ideal for any pattern that represents an emerging, cripple or stuck insect. So, we made them easily stackable. This will allow you to store dozens and dozens of dubbings in one place without taking up much room. Our dubbing box has 12 slots, each designed to hold an entire 1 gram pack of dubbing. Additionally, the ba ..read more
