WOW. wow. WOOOOW. OK. ok. I need an oxygen tank. This weekend has been bonkers. Three of the big six clubs lost to teams that are bad at best. Arsenal barely got past Bournemouth and Liverpool needed a 95th minute penalty kick to secure all three points. Let's summarise this weekend of craziness and see how my predictions went. Brighton 3-0 Tottenham Tottenham started the weekend off with a worse-than-terrible performance, I predicted Spurs to win this game 3-1 and it's safe to say that wasn't close. Putting that aside, Brighton's team deserved this win. Aaron Connolly scored a brace to put th ..read more

Premier League Matchday 8 Preview and Predictions

A weekend filled with fixtures that could turn into high scoring affairs. No big six encounters, but Liverpool will face a big test this weekend up against Leicester City. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under a lot of pressure after two straight draws, United will need a win the weekend against a weaker Newcastle side. So let's go over my previews and predictions for each individual game. Brighton vs. Tottenham Kicking off the weekend is a very intriguing match. Tottenham has been playing terrible as of late and a 7-2 home loss to Bayern in midweek did nothing to improve their confidence. Going up ag ..read more

Philadelphia 76ers Season Prediction: Finals Bound?

This Philadelphia 76ers team is one of the best defensive starting lineups I have ever seen. All five starters are over 6'6". All of them are bonafide defensive superstars with something to prove which makes them dangerous. They did well this offseason in adding some depth as well. So let's go over their roster and how I think their regular season and playoffs will go. The Roster The Philadelphia 76ers starting lineup is phenomenal. They're huge and have talent in all facets of the game. They're bench is the biggest question mark. Mike Scott is consistent and James Ennis III played his best ba ..read more

Premier League Top 3 Performers Matchday 7

There were a lot of eye-catching performances from this weekends fixtures. Almost every team had one player that was exceptional and could've been in this weeks top three, but unfortunatly, I can only pick three. So without further let's get into it. 3. Mat Ryan, Brighton Hove Albion It seems weird picking a goalkeeper that lost 2-0. But Ryan put in a shift and a half. He mad eight saves. Neither of the goals he could've saved, the first goal was a perfectly placed penalty kick and the second goal took a last second deflection off his own defender. He made save after save as Chelsea broke thro ..read more

This weekend proved to me once again that no matter what teams are playing, the Premier League will be exciting. This is why it's the most entertaining league in the world, I mean, Aston Villa vs. Burnley was electric from first to last whistle. So, without further ado let's go over each game and see how my predictions panned out. Sheffield United 0-1 Liverpool I figured that this would be a walk in the park for the Reds, however, they played terribly. Liverpool didn't register a shot on target until the 70th minute, which was also their only goal. The goal wouldn't have been possible if it wa ..read more

Los Angeles Clippers Season Prediction

The revamped Clippers will be an amazing defensive team that will ultimately fall short in the second round of the playoffs. They will have an impressive 59-win regular season and finish second in the west only to the Houston Rockets. The combination of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will be one of the fiercest partnerships in NBA history as both guys will be top eight offensive players and top three defensive players. So let's go over the roster, the regular season and the postseason and I'll detail why I think they'll finished second in the west but ultimately fall short in the playoffs. The ..read more

Upsets everywhere. Manchester United and Tottenham both lose and Arsenal gets a win out of nowhere against Aston Villa after being down 2-1 with 10 minutes left. So let's get into the recaps and review my predictions. Southampton 1-3 Bournemouth I predicted this game to be a 2-1 win for Southampton , and it was a very disappointing result for The Saints at home. Even though they controlled the game they weren't able to capitalize on their chances, Southampton's only goal came from a penalty kick in the 53rd minute. Bournemouth played their game plan to perfection. They got three great chances ..read more

NBA Way Too Early Power Rankings

The season tips off in exactly 22 days, and after this whirlwind off season it only seems fit to do Power Rankings well before official rosters are even set. I'll start with the Eastern Conference and then the West. I'll give reason for each teams placement and then at the end I'll do a quick Power Ranking for the League as a whole. Eastern Conference 15. Charlotte Hornets What is the management thinking? After another off season of giving subpar players big contracts this team will be by far the worst team in the league. None of their players would likely start on any other team in the League ..read more

WILL LIVERPOOL WIN IT ALL THIS YEAR

It's coming home! As a proud Southampton fan and a long-time Liverpool hater I have to admit this team under Klopp is special. They play fun, entertaining football and they will win the Premier League this season. They are already five points clear of City, and Liverpool don't look like they'll be slowing down. 6-0 to start the season and I think they have a chance at breaking the points total record in the premier league. I have three reasons why Liverpool will be lifting the coveted Premier League trophy for the first time and winning the top English division for the first time since 1990. J ..read more

Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal Recap

Underwhelming for the most part. Seemed as though both teams were playing not to lose. Either that, or they're just not as good as we think they are. This was supposed be an intense matchup with fire from their long running rivalry. But, today, there was only about 15 minutes of quality football and even less fire. I'm going to go over what each team did well and where they let themselves down over the 90 minutes. Manchester United In all the games I've watched from United this season they have an inability to play the ball too the feet of their striker. Rashford was supposed to be playing the ..read more
