Earlier this month the CFPB released a report on the background screening industry. The report details how background reports including criminal records are generated, how those reports are used by employers and issues those reports can have with accuracy. This week our background screening partner TazWorks updated the password requirements for the instascreen background screening portal. New portal login credentials must meet the following criteria: Minimum 12 characters Contain at least one letter Contain at least one special character Contain at least one digit As always, we recommend not only using strong passwords, but utilizing the multifactor authentication option on the instascreen portal.
