I recently had the pleasure of reading one of Elisabeth Elliot’s books: Joyful Surrender with my book club. This may be of surprise but I had only learned of her just a month prior while listening to an episode of one of my favorite podcasts on famous female missionaries and famous christian woman. This past year I failed to read the Bible in 1 Year. I was reading the Bible in a year chronologically and got stuck mainly in the Old Testament. The books in the OT have a lot of information and lessons, and it is very hard to learn what is happening without careful analysis of the reading.
