None of us could have predicted what the world would have faced in 2020. It’s certainly been a testing time for people all over the globe. Thank you to those that took part in our Marudo Mukashi Grow out competition. The deadline has passed for entering your results, and I have now compiled a list of your results. The prize is a £150.00 gift voucher and is awarded to the person that achieved the biggest growth. Not necessarily the biggest fish, but the koi that has grown the most from it’s original size. In 3rd place we have Richard Nice, his Mukashi started out at 34cm, and grew to 58cm! A whopping 24cm growth. Great result! Better late than never! Thanks to those that took part in our Kobayashi Shiro Utsuri Winter Grow and Show. The results are now in. Due to the delay, I thought It would be good to add some extra prizes for you all! The original prize still stands as the “Number 1 Shiro” the nature of this award is tricky to judge and is done by criteria met on the day. Pond Build 15,000 Gallons

Having had a pond of around 2,500-3000 Gallons the customer wanted to take it to the next level with a big formal pond. The new pond was going to be much larger than the original, about 6 times bigger! Once we had the original pond dismantled we could see the space we had to work with and started to get an idea of size that the pond would be. Then the digging commenced! We removed 190+ tonnes of clay from this garden to build the pond.
