On Monday, Oct. 4, Judge John F. Lambert sentenced Dylan Robinson to prison for 20 years to life for murdering father. In connection with the death of his father, Kenneth Robinson, in 2019, Robinson, 17, was convicted June 23 of murder in the second degree, burglary in the first degree, and attempted robbery in the first degree. Robinson was sentenced to 10 years in prison for burglary and attempted robbery, each to be served concurrently, plus five years of post-release supervision. In Hollywood early Monday morning, a drug deal gone bad ended with one man in a car shot and killed in a parking lot. There were gunshots reported at 12:50 a.m. near Gordon Street on the 5900 block of Sunset Boulevard. A man with gunshot wounds to his chest was found in a parked car by Los Angeles police.
