I’ll be totally honest. It had been a hot minute since I’d been to Universal up until this past weekend. I had an annual pass when I used to live in Florida but I hadn’t been back since I moved home 8 years ago. I learned SO much this past weekend about what makes Universal a great option for families and also for adults! Universal is a lot smaller than Disney World. If you’ve ever been to Disneyland the layout of Universal is more similar to that. You could walk to the theme parks from any of the hotels. Some would be an easier/fast walk that others of course but still, it’s possible! I love ..read more

Summertime at Disney/Universal
A Beautiful Tomorrow Blog

Anyone who knows me knows I rarely go to the parks in the summer. I’m NOT a fan of that Florida heat! But this year I went on a trip with my travel agency and my mom! I won’t lie, I was pretty nervous before I left. I was meeting everyone in the agency (in person) for the first time and I was definitely anxious about how I’d handle all day in the parks with the heat! I’ve had family members have heat strokes and I tend to get really bad migraines when I get too hot. So leading up to the trip I did lots of research and panic buying from Amazon . I’ve tried out ALL the things to help beat the he ..read more

Food just tastes better at Disney…probably due to the Disney magic! We eat at different places every time but here’s a recap from this trip! It’s very important to snag your reservations right when you can; 60 days prior to your trip. Even then sometimes it can be difficult to get your preferred restaurant. We also went during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival! I was able to try more food & drinks than ever before because I went with a larger group who also wanted to try everything! That’s the best way to do it because when everyone shares you get to try a little of everything! We got to t ..read more

Here’s some tips & tricks to make the most of your Disney trip! Of course this is written from the view of a plus-size childless millenial! So just keep that in mind This time I chose to take 2 pairs of tennis shoes and fluctuate them. We went 5 days in a row and I’ll admit it was tough on my feet! a good pair of socks is a MUST. I love bombas but they’re too expensive for me. I’ve found a good dupe on Amazon and love them. I fluctuated between these white shoes and my Adidas tennis shoes. I was surprised that my white shoes actually seemed more comfortable than my Adidas shoes. I’m part ..read more

I’m not sure what’s been going on this year but I’ve had the hardest time finding shorts! It’s honestly been a nightmare. I’m very picky about my shorts. They need to be snug around my legs so they don’t ride up and have at least a 4/5 inch inseam. The chub rub is real ya’ll and I’ve got to do what I can to prevent that! Here’s the shorts I’ve finally found this year that I’m loving! First up Dia & Co! I’m obsessed with these white shorts! Super comfy and cute. I also snagged a pair of jean shorts from them! You can use my code “kats_beautifultomorrows” for 30% off! Old Navy has really be ..read more

We LOVE the Charleston & Myrtle Beach areas. We go at least once a year! It’s so beautiful there and not a far drive from where we live in NC. Here’s a run down of our most recent trip! We started off in Myrtle Beach for the first 4 days. We stayed at the same condo complex as last time we visited but just in a different condo. This complex is awesome! It’s oceanfront with multiple pools & hot tubs. We had a great ocean view and stayed on the 10th floor! The condo is a one bedroom and perfect for a single person or a couple. It has a very comfy king bed, nicely stocked kitchen, & ..read more
