This first step is what I deen as the simplest step. Get rid of anything and everything that hurts you reminds you and taunts you about what was.  From photos to clothes and the blocking of contacts. In my opinion I felt it best to give what no longer serves me to charity, if it isn’t in good enough condition to either tear and burn, via GIPHY or simply toss away in the trash while smiling and waving.
