Missing TB??? Got a Message from a cacher that one of my Travel Bugs that was Marked missing back in 2022 was actually found in a geocache. My TB was started in Panama when I was there in 2011. Here is the TB description: This TB started in a little roadside store in Farallon, Panama near the resort we were staying at, he is a keychain. I built a cache for others coming to the resort to find as the nearest cache was some distance away. This is where he started his Journey from, and then he flew back to Canada with me. He traveled from Panama to BC, then across Canada to New Brunswick and the ..read more

Seattle Trip Headed to Seattle with Sansue for a show and I set up a list with some high favorited caches, but it was raining pretty good and we ended up only getting one virtual cache. I guess we will get the high favorited caches another time. NOTE: The highlighted or underlined words in my blog can be clicked on as they are links to other cool stuff!! Also if you click on any of the pictures they become bigger!!! I came across a Challenge cache called "Oldies But Goodies 100 Century Challenge" where you needed to have found 100 caches ..read more

I'm sure a lot of you will be very happy with that simple mission    So, everyone who is interested, please e-mail me your caching name, your real name, your address and your e-mail addy. I will choose by random who sends a coin to who. The person you send the coin to ..read more

Bella Bella Trip This Christmas Season I got to do a fair bit of travelling to shows. I flew up to Bella Bella for a show. It is 145km North of the top of Vancouver Island, which is about 480km away from me.  If you recall from last months blog I was sad as I looked on geocaching and there was no caches in Bella Bella.  After a quick flight, I got picked up at the airport, and got a quick tour of the town. This was the actual plane I flew up in, not the one above. lol Water Taxi Well as it turns out, after flying there, and after my tour of Be ..read more

Cache Hiding I hid a cache this past week. I have been hauling this cache around for weeks looking for a spot to hide it. Every time I look and see some spot on the map, another small or micro cache appears. This is one of the reasons for my cache called "Too Many Micro's!? It seems that a lot of micro's are being hidden, and it would be nice to see some regular or large caches being placed. I also got this cool souvenir for placing a hide this year. I haven't been placing as many as I did when I was over on the island, but I would like to change that, and get some more out the ..read more

South of the BorderSusan and I headed across the border to spend the night, and of course we were able to grab several caches. We got one Adventure Lab in Ferndale, as well as the bonus cache.   We also found 14 more of the 25 X Men puzzle series. I only have 2 more to solve and go find. We ended up DNFing one of them, and we believe its not there. Once replaced we will be back.  NOTE: The cache was checked by the owner and he found it was missing and it has since been replaced. NOTE: The highlighted or underlined words in my blog ..read more

Now I am here for a Magic Convention with 1600 Magicians!!! Well actually 1599 and Me!! Our first night in town we went to a taping of Penn and Teller's "Fool Us" show.  Cruising along the Border for a cache The day after getting back from our Vegas Trip, I ended up going to an Event on the Canada/USA Border. We also went as a group to do a Virtual cache on the Border. "Borderline Caching Disorder" is a Marker on the Canada/United States Border.  The water is usually higher, and you need a boat or kayak to get to it, but on July 4th the tide was super low, so a lot of people decided to go for it and wade out to it. Here I am on the East side of it, which is where you need to take the picture from for the Virtual. Here are ..read more

Vegas Trip Yay, made it to Vegas for 5 days of sun, fun, shows, and Caching!!! (June 29) Day 1: Flew into Vegas and got to grab 5 quick stages of an Adventure Lab as we got to the Airport. We answered the questions later on back at the hotel. That is one of the good things about AL's is that once the stages are open, they can be answered from anywhere, later on. We headed out for a show this evening and then afterward, we walked down the strip for awhile. Susan was able to grab 3 Virtual Caches that I had already done back in August 2015 during my first Magic Live convention, when I walk ..read more

Events and Caching Went to a few Caching events this month and when I was at the one in Port Coquitlam, I asked if anyone had done the nearby multi called "Poco Persnicketty Peripatetic Puzzler" I had all the info already and looked for it in the past, but couldn't find it. One of the cachers at the event gave me all the info and when I compared it to mine, I had one date wrong. With the new info, after the event, I now had the cache in hand. It was a very cool cache and nicely made.  The Co-ords and hint brought me to this Gas meter, but the cache was underneath. I was expec ..read more
