I absolutely love animals, growing up there was always a dog in the household and my best friend growing up was my grandparent’s little Jack Russel – Lassie and my protector German Shepherd – Sam. I just love dogs. I have made it no secret that I want to add more to the family. However we need to wait until we get a bigger house! Currently I have Summer (6) who is a Border Collie x and Iris (1) our Border Collie. I think it is so important for a children to have animals in their lives and even better if it’s a dog. Saying that, before you do get a dog there are things y ..read more

We all love Ice cream right? But also all know someone that has a dairy intolerance. Me, I have a dairy intolerance but a strange one, I can eat small amounts of dairy but thats my limit for a few days. I used to love Ice Cream but when I started to get ill, I got panicky about food and if it would make me feel poorly. We started to experiment with making dairy free Ice cream and this was my favourite. I have never ever been a fan of plain vanilla Ice cream. As I go on this whole cutting dairy completely journey I will be experimenting more with flavours. Ingredients 2 ..read more

*Review* Wolds way Lavender 2019

We have been to Wolds way lavender before and we really enjoyed it, but somehow the last time we were there was nearly 5 years ago. So we decided to call in and see how much it had changed. Over the years I had seen various advertising stating the place had added extra things in. The first time we came, I really liked the idea of wandering through the maze to find a different game in various parts, and the boys loved it. This time it was no different, the boys had a blast running in and out and playing games. At one point there was even a serious game of Chess taking part ..read more

How you can keep cool during a heatwave.

If someone had told me 6 months ago that we would see heat like this in Scotland, I would have probably laughed at them. I mean when do we ever get hot hot weather in this country? Now apparently, we are facing a heatwave pandemic and thousands of people are flocking to the seaside in an attempt to keep cool. Wow it is hot hot hot! The UK is just not used to this kind of temperatures and I have seen so many people beg for ways in which they can somehow keep cool. I, as a concerned parent, have been looking into ways in which I can make this sticky heat more bearable for the ..read more

*We were kindly gifted a family ticket in return for an honest review. All views opinions and photos are my own* We have never been to The Deep in Hull before, so when we were asked to pay them a visit in return for a review, we jumped at the chance. One of my profession choices growing up was to become a Marine Biologist, I just love the ocean and its inhabitants and have always found them so interesting. The Deep is home to over 5,000 animals, with lots of interactive games for the little ones. It also has a Tunnel and a Glass elevator which stops for a few seconds i ..read more

*We were kindly gifted a family ticket in return for an honest review. All views opinions and photos are my own* We visit Yorkshire quite a lot, but we have never visited York Maze. I am not really sure why to be honest, maybe it was the fact that we had gotten it into our heads that it’s just a maize maze. Boy were we wrong! We found a parking space quite easily and there’s loads of space to park too. We were greeted by two friendly staff members who made sure we had everything we needed to make our day as fun as possible. You can purchase a cheat map of the giant ..read more
