Ah, the Met Gala. It really is the best of all the red carpets, don’t you think? This year’s theme was “camp” (as in tacky, not campfires), which made for some over the top looks and quirky surprises.
Let’s get to it!
CELEBRITIES WHO HONORED THE THEME AND STILL LOOKED FABULOUS!
Lady Gaga
I’m pretty sure this is the exact same fabric from the bridesmaids dresses in my wedding.
(Embarrassing fact: I also DIY-ed a fuchsia satin runner for the aisle to match their dresses.)
Does that mean the theme of my wedding was camp?

Each January, I write down 100 things I want to accomplish in the new year. Do you know what makes the list every single time?
“Attend a gala.”
Why do I so desperately want to attend a gala? To walk the red carpet, of course! I’ve imagined it more times than I can count.

The opportunity to live out this fantasy finally presented itself while ..read more

I’ll admit it–I missed the Screen Actors Guilds Awards this year. (Although I do have the excellent excuse of being on a transatlantic flight during the broadcast.)
But I’m not about to let some silly detail like not actually watching the show prevent me from being an opinionated internet fashion troll! That would be ridiculous.
I’m short on time, but still wanted to pop in with my 5 best (and worst) looks from the red carpet.
