Mandisa’s cause of death is still unknown.
Contemporary singer Mandisa, a contestant on American Idol and a Grammy winner, is dead. She was 47 years old.
A representative for the singer said that Mandisa was found dead in her home in Nashville, Tennessee, on Thursday. The representative said the cause of Mandisa’s death was not yet known.

Sa’adatu Hassan Liman joins the list of female vice-chancellors in Nigeria.
Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, a professor of Islamic studies, has been appointed as the new vice chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK).
With this appointment, Liman becomes the first female indigenous vice chancellor in the school’s 22-year history. She also joins the growing list of female vice-chancellors in Nigeria.
