United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UOCH) indicates that, since 2008, there has been 6407 Palestinian fatalities and 152, 560 Palestinian injuries. Conversely, Israeli fatalities for the same period number 308 with 6,307 Israeli injuries. The disaster of the Titan submersible raises a few questions for travel to locations that are risky. Notably, why did this vessel not have any type of black box surveillance device on board in the event of an accident that would provide future intelligence?
Air travel on commercial airliner’s require Black Boxes in the event of a crash. In the Titan's case, there is nothing to guide the understanding of what happened to the vessel.
