Understandably, a lot of people have a fear of turbulence when flying. I’m going to try and explain what turbulence is and why it’s nothing to worry about so that you can get on your next flight feeling confident and relaxed.
What is turbulence?
The best way to explain turbulence is like waves on the sea. If you’ve ever been on a boat, you’ve probably experienced a few waves. What happens to the boat? Nothing! I’ve always loved clouds. Flying through them especially, surfing the tops is like being in magical parallel universe. However not all clouds are that friendly. Here are a few of my top cloud pictures i’ve snapped and a little cloud bio to go with them.

University Air Squadron? What’s that I hear you say. I had no idea either before a friend of mine enlightened me. He was on the Bristol squadron and told me about this RAF flying club that I could join at university and learn to fly for FREE as well as go skiing, climbing, shooting and so much more.
