Looking for a unique and profitable way to fundraise for your school? Look no further! As a former teacher, I know how important it is to have options that don’t involve food or expensive products, which is why I created a custom blanket fundraiser opportunity for K-12 schools and sports nationwide! Here’s how it works: we help you design personalized spirit blankets, which we produce and ship directly to you at a low cost, allowing your school to profit at least 50%! Plus, with our Michigan-based, women, teacher, and veteran-owned business, you can feel good about supporting a local company f ..read more

Bulky clothing, including large sweatshirts, winter coats and snowsuits, should not be worn underneath the harness of a car seat. In a car crash, fluffy padding immediately flattens out from the force, leaving extra space under the harness. Your child can then slip through the harness and be thrown from the seat. It’s just not safe to buckle over the coat, period. When we know better, we do better. This is why we designed these, and they are here to put your mind at ease.
1. Safer than a bulky coat
AAP agrees, bulky coats under belts are not safe, that’s why our car seat ponchos go on your ch ..read more

One year can expand their mind infinitely!
I have to say, even though I was a teacher for years, nothing could have quite prepared me for managing two full time careers from home and teaching my children since March. We will keep this intro short, we all know the information overload we are facing in the world right now; it is overwhelming. Last night here in Michigan, Governor Whitmer announced the closure of all K-12 schools. We are still processing this information but knowing that it is for the best for many reasons. Paired with our scheduled Spring Break, all this news means my 5 and 6 year olds are home for the next month. The word Homeschool is reverberating stronger and stronger in our minds!

Non-candy Easter basket ideas for kids? Yes, please, and make it easy! Kids want things that they can use again and again to play with. Plus, we think you will really like the fact that we have incorporated lots of educational items too, like learning blankets (shameless plug, they were created by our veteran owned business!)

My toddler is excitedly preparing to celebrate his first Valentine’s Day at preschool this week. Meanwhile, I’m starting a new job and nearly forgot to buy Valentines! So you can imagine my face when I read the school email boldly asking parents to bring homemade Valentine’s, along with a lengthy list of anxiety inducing guidelines (non GMO, USDA organic, allergy friendly, and gluten free). While I would love to whip out my glue gun and get to work on some popsicle stick masterpieces or vegan heart shaped brownies, I just don’t have the time. Let’s be honest, I’m not that kind of mom anyway. I ..read more
