On this website, we have talked about the tragedy of Huy Fong chili paste being unavailable due to a crop failure. I tried the Sambal Olek from a competitor and it was not good. Avoid! But I did find a hot sauce that I like quite a bit, yes, it has a different taste. It’s not as hot. but I am liking it. It is Sirachi hot sauce made with yellow chili peppers. Has anyone here tried any of the various apps for tracking what food you have? I just downloaded one called Pantry Check and have spent the past hour scanning bar codes of everything we have that is unopened and assigning them a location.
