bp’s Archaea Energy announced the official startup of its largest original Archaea Modular Design (AMD) renewable natural gas (RNG) plant to date in Shawnee, Kansas, just outside of Kansas City. Westcoast Energy Inc. (Westcoast), an Enbridge company, is proposing the Sunrise Expansion Program, an expansion of the southern portion of the BC Pipeline system, known as T-South. Baker Hughes will supply 17 pipeline centrifugal compressors driven by aeroderivative gas turbines for Phase 3 of Saudi Arabia’s Master Gas System (MGS). The Aramco project includes a new 2485-mile (4000-km) pipeline designed to increase domestic gas distribution and contribute to a reduction of carbon emissions and oil consumption.
