We are scheduled to fly to London on April 30. We can cancel until 48 hours prior to departure.
I've been watching the weather forecasts for Wiltshire, Somerset, West and East Sussex for some time now. It looks as though the cool, wet weather will continue for the foreseeable future, according to the UK Met Office and some weather sites. But the language in their forecasts is so vague, equivocal and nuanced that I wonder if I'm getting the right picture,
Has anyone had first hand experience...

Well, this could be the most unusual question posted..maybe, but I am involved in community theater in the USA. I’d love to see other community productions in London or the London area.
I’ll be there in September.
Any info is appreciated..

We would like to hire a car in Bologna and after spending 10 days in the Tuscan countryside want to drop it off at Rome before spending 4 days in Rome. We will be staying in the Termini area but not sure how easy it is to drive there to drop the car off? Would we be better to drop it off at the FCO Airport and then train into Rome or drop it off at Termini?
Thank you in advance for the advice ..read more

We have a bit more than two weeks in mid- September for a London- Canterbury trip.
We plan to spend about a week in London, our favorite city, then train to…
Rye? Maidstone? Someplace for a night or two before several days in Canterbury.
Suggestions? We like history, museums, cultural activities and gardens.
Thanks ..read more

We’ll be in italy for a month and are wondering what everyones doing these days. We have iphone 12s (Verison) and are planning on buying an italian sim once we get there and from time to time put our US sim in the phone to check messages. Does that work these days or do you have a better plan. Last time we were there was 7 years ago. We have wifi where were staying.

We spent ten nights in Andalucia at the end of February-beginning of March 2024. We flew into Malaga and picked up a rental car at malagacar.com. There was a little traffic around the airport but once we passed Malaga and were heading towards Osuna, the roads were quiet.
We spent three nights in Osuna in a spotlessly clean and quiet studio apartment a short walk from the centre and the supermarkets. Saturday was just arriving, shopping, eating. On the second day we visited Ecija, an...

Possibly one of the most important schools in England that revolutionised ideas on teaching infants
Some Background about Samuel Wildersopin and his ideas
Many of us will have visited Victorian school rooms and learnt of the fierce discipline in them. In fact Victorian Infant teaching was much more enlightened than I realised, as I found out during a visit to the Wilderspin National School.
The school is a typical Victorian brick building in the centre of Barton on Humber...
