Then they get into the state and future of our salmon fisheries. While salmon are not always high on fly angler's list of species they are important to the health of many of our more popular fisheries ie. Trout and Steelhead. Macala is one of the most talented young photographers in fly fishing. If you look at her photos and the places she has traveled to take them you would think she is a salty veteran. Rachel literally grew up in a fly shop as her Dad David started working at the Anglers Covey in 1996 and bought the shop in 1999 with her mom Becky. Moving it from a small house-based shop to an 8500 sq foot retail space that includes Colorado Tackle Pro conventional angling shop, Pikes Peak Outfitter paddle sports shop as well as the Anglers Covey Fly Shop.
