There's something truly magical about snowboarding at Valle Nevado. Just arriving at the Chilean resort, which sits above treeline on a diving board of a cliff surrounded by the beautiful and jagged peaks of the Andes, takes your breath away. On Saturday, April 13th, Methodology, the race-slash-method-contest for a good cause, returned to Sierra-at-Tahoe, bringing together boarders of all stripes to make turns, have fun, and raise money for the 43 Institute. Since Pat Moore founded the Methodology non-profit, events have been held all over North America to raise funding for different beneficiaries. Copper Mountain Extends the Season into May

It's been a good week at Copper. The resort just received a 22 inches of snow, making for a deep mid-April powder day on Tuesday. With this storm, Copper's snowfall total for the season just reached 300 inches. And now, the season is nowhere near over. Copper Mountain just announced that they are extending operations into May, with no set closing day; they're going to stay open as long as conditions allow.
