Our thoughts on how to bring your wedding day details to life Native Bouquet / Boutonniere When choosing florals for your wedding day details, one easy way to have it feel “right” is to keep it close! Hire a local florist to arrange your bouquet with wildflowers and foliage native to the area.  Not only are you then supporting a local business, but you stay homegrown.  Keep it true to the area, and the cohesion between the details and the location will make for a fantastic look.  Hiking Boots Not only is this practical, but the best way to feel like you are having a hiking elo ..read more

Steph & Alex’s Elopement We have absolutely fallen in love with this family and are so grateful to have been there documenting their desert elopement. When we think back on this day, it fills our hearts with so much joy. Remembering all the feels as Alex said to Steph, “I’ve loved you since the fourth grade”, he said. “That’s why I let you copy my math homework”. He said this as Steph and Alex sat nestled on a boulder amongst the Joshua Trees while they read their vows and soaked in the sunset across the desert. It was 1000% them and 1000% perfect. In September when we had to make the deci ..read more

There’s a common misconception that elopements are just a quick ceremony – you say your vows, exchange rings, and you’re done. But here’s the thing, after shooting elopements for over four years we know it can be so much more. Maybe running off for a quick ceremony is what eloping used to be, but not anymore! You’re eloping, but that doesn’t make your day any less meaningful or special. If anything, the fact that you were brave enough to ditch traditions and let go of expectations makes this day even more incredible – you’re doing your wedding your own way, and that’s something to celebr ..read more
