Crystal photography balls, or lenballs, have been getting more and more popular over the last few years. We first dabbled with creative lensball photography back in 2019, and it’s only really now that I think we’ve actually mastered how to use a lensball, both with a camera and an iphone. So, here are 5 lensball photography tips and ideas that should help you start getting some killer shots with your lensball. Let me start by saying that we’ve really enjoyed using our lensball. Nek Chand & Chandigarh Rock Garden – History & Visiting Advice
People of the Planet

The story of Nek Chand’s Rock Garden in Chandigarh, is a truly great (and unusual) story of how an underground hobby became perhaps the most celebrated and famous attraction in Chandigarh. Being from the UK, I hadn’t heard of the Chandigarh Rock Garden before I traveling to India back in 2018. On that first trip to India we traveled all over the country, from Leh & Khardung La Pass in the Himalayas to Kerala and everywhere in between. It was actually only by chance that we ended up spending a week in Chandigarh (a snow blizzard closed our route out of Leh, so we had to fly to Chandigarh ..read more

Khardung La Pass, The Highest Road in the World?
People of the Planet

For anyone that wants to travel to the top of the Khardung La Pass / Ladakh Pass and who is wondering if it’s just like any other road, I want to take you to a moment that sums up our journey to the ‘highest road in the world’ (as we thought, more on that later), the Khardungla Pass… We’re about 1 or 2 miles from the summit, I feel sick from the jeep bouncing all over the place, there is a mile-high cliff edge only a couple of inches from the car. The army is there, clearing away a landslide in the snow that blocks the road. We’re going to have to walk the last part… The views are spectacular ..read more

People of the Planet

We recently spent a few days exploring the New Forest, Hampshire, both on foot and cycling. Of all the different little sections of the New Forest, we spent most of our time around Bolderwood. We did some epic cycles (in thunder & lightning), tested our forest photography skills, got lost in the woods and saw countless wild animals (deer, horses and even a highland cow). It’s my favourite part of the New Forest, and so this is my Bolderwood walks, cycle routes & deer sanctuary guide. Sam at the beginning of our first Bolderwood cycle route! My Favourite Bolderwood New Forest Cycle Rout ..read more

Being one of the most modern cities in South East Asia, Singapore is the pinnacle of multi-culturalism, ground-breaking technology, and botanical genius. Thailand and Bali are two of the most well-known travel destinations on the planet. They’re also in roughly the same part of the world, and both offer world class beaches, nightlife and culture. In fact, because they can appear to be so similar, it can be tricky to know which one suits you better.
