Tickets Available Now – Proceeds Benefit Clocktower Restoration Fund Rome Clocktower at Sunset by Jamie Reynolds The Rome Area History Center will host public tours of the Rome Clocktower beginning Saturday, April 6. Tours will be held the first Saturday of the following months: April, May, June, September and October. In 2010, Rome and Floyd County was one of the first 13 communities in the state to be recognized as “Camera Ready.” As the direct liaison with the Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment office (a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development) our community has welcomed many film productions, from student and independent productions to major studios.
