Thinking back on my law school application process, it’s shocking to me now how many things I just didn’t have any idea about. I decided to apply at lunch one day, after a terrible staff meeting at the place I was working (they were about to cut salaries and probably start laying people off, and it was clear that we needed to figure out next steps, fast). Everyone at that lunch made a life-changing decision on the spot. Mine was that I wanted to move to NYC.
