No. 7 in our Top 100 countdown for the 2024 season is Tabor Academy senior attackman, Evan O’Neil. O’Neil is currently pacing the Tabor offense with 32 points (18 goals), good enough for 10th in the ISL in his final season before heading to Richmond. Here’s our interview with Evan: What made you want to commit to Richmond? “I’m headed to the university of Richmond and I wanted to go to this school so I can get two more years of playing with my older brother. BH goalie James Mullowney and RL goalie Kevin Brennan both stood on their head and in the end, it was Mullowney’s team squeaking out a hard-fought 8-7 win. Ben DiBattista also had a hat trick for the victors. Belmont Hill remains atop the ISL standings at 9-1 overall and 6-0 in the league while Roxbury Latin (5-4, 3-3) is going to be in a dog fight for the postseason the rest of the way. “James has done ..read more

The Top 10 reveal continues today with No. 9, Jack Cappadona, a junior defenseman for Thayer. Capadonna is a menace defensively and can push the ball in transition with the best of them. If Thayer makes the ISL postseason, he’ll be a huge reason why. More important than anything else he’ll do on a lacrosse field, Cappadona has elected to defend the country with a commitment to Army. Here’s our interview with Jack: What made you want to commit to Army? “I chose to commit to Army because it is an incredible opportunity to play for a high end division 1 lacrosse program as well as serve my countr ..read more

ISL Top 10 – Week 3
BostonLax

Aside from (probably) three of the eight ISL playoff spots, things are wide open with the regular season’s final weekend just two weeks away. Here’s where we believe the Top 10 stand heading into games starting on 4/24: 1. St. Sebastian’s (7-3, 5-0) – The Arrows dropped 25 goals in a game against Lawrence Academy and took care of business against Thayer and Milton Academy recently. It’s a 1a, 1b situation for us with Belmont Hill right now. 2. Belmont Hill (8-1, 5-0) – Big one on the road against Roxbury Latin this week after blowouts against St. George’s and Groton. Just sort of quietly going ..read more

DUXBURY – Winning an in-season tournament doesn’t guarantee you’ll have success in the big tourney coming up in about a month, but it sure helps. Zach Falls and TJ Pikul each had four goals while Pikul also added an assist. Liam Godwin had a hat trick and Colin Hulett also potted two goals. Jack Sovik and Sam Wein added a goal apiece. CONCORD – It may not feel like it yet, but the ISL postseason is already looming on the horizon. Just three weeks stand between teams and the playoffs. In a year where the league is seemingly as wide open as it’s been in a while, that made Friday’s matchup between Middlesex and Rivers even more important. Middlesex jumped out to a six-goal lead in the first half, held on for dear life when Rivers tied the game in the fourth and ultimately came away with a 13-9 win. With the rest of the league playing Saturday, Middlesex is now 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the league, sitting in a three-way tie for t ..read more
