NEEDHAM – If you love the game of lacrosse, St. Sebastian’s was the place to be on Friday night. The top two teams in the ISL and the state met for a massive regular season showdown with a week left in the regular season when Belmont Hill took on the Arrows. The game lived up to the hype with a massive crowd, two raucous student sections and a game with ferverent action from start to finish. It was a much different story this time around on Tuesday, but the same result. St. Sebastian’s (9-3, 7-0) – Blew out Groton and took down Middlesex in OT in what might have been the Game of the Year. Tabor and a showdown for the top seed with Belmont Hill on Friday. 2. Belmont Hill (10-1, 7-0) – Tough road win against a good RL team then put up 23 on St. Mark’s. Statement week with Nobles & Seb’s up next. 3. Three straight on the road this week with BC High on Tuesday night before CM Thursday and Staples on Saturday. 2.
