Today is my second wedding anniversary! To celebrate, I’m finally sharing pictures and the story behind our honeymoon in the Maldives. Honeymooning in the Maldives as a plus size newlywed was simpler than I thought.
If you’ve been following my blog and plus size adventures in food, travel, and style then you will recall that this isn’t my only honeymoon post. You see, we did a little globetrotting around Asia on our way to the Maldives so this is the final installation of the series.
Other honeymoon guides include:
24 hours in Narita, Japan
Four days in Singapore

“While we are in a pandemic?” my husband hears me say for the third time as he tells me we should probably exercise more. Meanwhile, I’m setting up in-house Korean bbq for the third time. At this point healing my relations with food amidst a pandemic came when I looked at it as more than just calories.
How a pandemic helped me heal my relationship with food and my body
Like most, at the beginning of the global pandemic I had a plan to get fit and healthy with all this extra time away from friends. I was naive. In phase 1, restaurants were closed down. No one was selling food to-go and going t ..read more

Hi, did you miss me? At the end of last year I took a break from my blog. I wanted to focus on my day job and see where it would take me. I took a break from blogging and COVID didn’t help at all. After five consecutive years of blogging on two blogs, contributing to Fat Girls Traveling, working a 9-5, and always thinking content-first ya girl was tired. But just like that…
What I’ve accomplished during my break from blogging
Since my break in October of 2019 I’ve done a few things that I plan on sharing with you all.
Visited Mexico City, Mexico for the first time
Celebrated our demise into ..read more

I’ve kind of had it with my usual plus size friendly fashion stores. Shopping as a curvy woman has been and for the most part always will be challenging as long as brands still see fat as bad for their reputation. There is so much money to be made in plus size fashion but alas a lot of affordable brands either miss the mark. I am now at the point where going to malls no longer bring me joy and online shopping for my plus size needs is looking very appealing. Thank goodness Amazon has a variety of retailers that offer extended sizing. Throw in the fact that I have Amazon Prime and buying my fav ..read more

Bohemian Traders is a women’s clothing boutique in Australia and sells itself as being style for the “modern bohemian.” I follow Tallulah Moon on instagram, a plus size blogger and body love QUEEN. She regularly wears Bohemian Trader’s gorgeous dresses to the beach and around town. The fact that Bohemian Traders offers extended sizes for curvy women is an even bigger plus!
I’ve been stalking their site waiting for a sale so I could scoop up their Bloom Baby Bloom collection. On average each of their dresses are around $200 but I snagged three of their maxi dresses on sale! Trying to figure out ..read more

Bohemian Traders is a women’s clothing boutique in Australia and sells itself as being style for the “modern bohemian.” The fact that Bohemian Traders offers extended sizes for curvy women is a huge plus for me. I am a firm believer that brands don’t need separate plus size lines, just more inclusive sizing. In this post I will review the Backless Maxi Dress in Russet | Bohemian Traders.
I’ve been stalking their site waiting for a sale so I could scoop up their Bloom Baby Bloom collection. I ended up also buying this Bohemian Traders Backless Maxi Dress in Russet to get the free shipping. Y ..read more

This week marks the 1 year anniversary since I went to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Being that I am kind of an unofficial plus size Disney blogger, this trip was a huge deal to me. I’ve been a Disneyland annual pass holder for a solid eight years and have been to the park so many times, I now just swing by to shop the exclusive Disney limited release items.
As you probably noticed, I never blogged about my Disney World trip. For a few reasons:
It was my first time visiting the parks
I didn’t get to do everything I wanted
I don’t feel like I know enough
Disneyland veteran becomes Disney ..read more
