Inter-generational wars have grown increasingly bitter of late…

In the middle, Gen X is probably, I dunno, thinking ‘meh, whevs’ and listening to Absolute Radio 90s… But none of this beefing across the decades is particularly edifying or constructive – or even accurate in many cases. Is indulging in nostalgia actually good for us?
Scrolling social media lately has been, for Gen X at least, a chance to swim in a glittering ocean of nostalgia. Normally, I’ve no time for the rose-tinted spectacles sported by the golden-agers of Facebook – the ones with a tendency to pen terrible poems about the glory days of the 1950s. (“We played on the bombsite and skinned our knees/and all the beds at home had fleas”). But when it’s my generation, which grew up in the ‘70s and ‘80s, nostalgia is a powerful and intoxicating drug. Would you be able to spot your child versus a deepfake if they called you for help?
Nobody who has been paying attention for the past 20 years is likely to reply to an email from a Nigerian prince offering untold riches. It’s official! Our Pro-Ageing Stem Cell Regenerator Serum is a hit
In October last year we were contacted by the Good Housekeeping Institute. They were testing a range of products for mature skin, and wanted to include our serum. One of their beauty editors had spotted it, thought it would be a good fit.
We were obviously pretty excited about this, and although balking slightly at the (to us) quite large batch of free samples they wanted, we despatched them. We also completed the not-inconsiderable questionnaire about the product, responding to questions about the ingredients, sustainability ..read more
