Ahmedabad, located in the western part of India, has a rich and different history that spans centuries. Here’s a concise history of Ahmedabad Ahmedabad was innovated in 1411 by Sultan Ahmed Shah, who governed the Sultanate of Gujarat. The megacity was strategically located on the banks of the Sabarmati River and snappily grew into a prosperous centre of trade and commerce. Trafalgar Square: The Best Vibing Spot in Central London

Trafalgar Square, in the heart of London, was a sight to behold during the day. The grand galleria was girdled by some of the megacity’s most iconic structures, including the National Gallery and St Martin- in- the- Fields church. As the sun began to rise over the megacity, Trafalgar Square started to come to life. The sound of business hummed in the background, while the gentle sound of the cradles handed a comforting negation to the hustle and bustle of the megacity. As the morning wore on, the square began to fill with people. Excursionists clicked prints of the towering Nelson’s Column ..read more

Why Do I Love To visit Third Wave Coffee Cafe

It was a sunny afternoon when I decided to visit a third-wave coffee cafe for the first time in 2023 after coming from the United Kingdom. I had heard about the place from many of my musketeers and was curious to try out the coffee that was making swells in the megacity of Delhi. Upon entering the cafe, I was taken suddenly by the ultramodern and minimalist scenery. The baristas behind the counter were dressed in slate aprons and had an air of professionalism about them.  The way they were preparing every coffee order so delicately made me surprise. Like they’re there to look after al ..read more

Think of England and you think of London. The visuals of London are so omnipresent that you start equating it with the country. I love London. During the short time that I spent living in the country, London used to be my favourite weekend destination. I love it for its museums, for its central business district and I loved strolling past the Thames River. However, there are some charming English cities in the country that you must see – each has its character. 4 must explore England Birmingham: I spent the weekend in Birmingham exploring the Cadbury World Tour. A short trip to Portsmouth and Southsea

If you want to go to a seaside town in England, Portsmouth and Southsea should be on your list. It is approximately 65 miles from Reading and would take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. We took the train because we don’t know how to drive and there was no point in renting a car. Hiring taxis would be prohibitively expensive. There were also two other options: bus and train. The train is preferable because it will arrive faster than the bus. It took us about 3 hours to get there from the Reading station because we had to change trains twice. We spent around 30 GBP for the entire trip. The ..read more

Today, I’m writing as an avid Indian cricket fan rather than a food and travel blogger.  And I believe today is the ideal time to write about the Home of Cricket, as England recently won their latest ICC tournament trophy. So I decided to dedicate this post to all English cricket fans.    Lord’s Cricket Ground is located in London’s St. John’s Wood neighbourhood. Every cricket fan wishes to see a match, but I realised while exploring this ground that it is best to visit when there is no match taking place. Only you would understand the essence of one of the world’s most ..read more

There’s a turning point in every Indian foodie’s life when you have to play the pause button of eating pizza, burgers or wraps and instead choose that cuisine that an Indian foodie is familiar with. After getting bored or tired of trying those everyday Italian dishes or Mediterranean cuisine, it was time to explore the cuisine from the Northern and central parts of India. For me, it was a magic moment to try out these dishes as I was craving them. So yeah! I know how to cook and cook a few words, but spending some money is okay. So, I visited a restaurant called the House of Flavours in Re ..read more

Previously I have talked about my favourite walking trail in London, i.e. Westminister to Oxford Street via Trafalgar Square. This time I’ll tell you about one of my new findings. I mean, it’s new for me, but not for the world or at least people living in the United Kingdom. Last time I wanted to visit one of the best places to have hot chocolate in London but I couldn’t due to lack of time. This time I started my journey from Westminister Bridge to Trafalgar Square; somehow, I loved this part of London. As I exited from the Westminister tube station. I felt just incredible. Maybe that’s w ..read more

Travelling helps to recharge and learn more things which add value to our knowledge bank. Living in a foreign country and too in the United Kingdom for more than six months is an entirely different feeling. England is full of diverse scenery and rich cultural heritage. However, tourists usually prefer to travel to places which have historical influence. Bath is also one of the places where wanderers frequently travel to see pastiche buildings. We boarded the train from Reading to Bath Spa, which took approximately an hour. Views from the train are fantastic; if it’s a weekday, it’s icing on ..read more
