Hi there. Avid AZ camper here. Been to Apache lake Burnt Corral 3 times and love camping there but have never gone when it’s non reservable. This time doing a holiday weekend and bringing the boat. Memorial Day. I plan on going in Thursday afternoon to get a lakeside campsite for the weekend. Anyone try this? Is it early enough? People be crazy out here holding sites etc not sure if people would go out even earlier but I’m open to it if needed as we have friends joining and we are the ones with the boat. Thanks!

What's some good areas to be fishing from land in AZ? I would rather not be in the city as well. Just looking for peace and quiet.

As far as a landlord is concerned and their responsibility to uphold their end of the lease agreement, can anyone tell me if that reaches the upkeep, cleanliness and safety of the common areas? Such as the private restrooms for tenants when they are utilizing outdoor amenities? As well as the said amenities themselves of course. I'm wondering if there is a time limit on how long the pool water can be left gross green and stinky. And, in one of the restrooms there was burned up foil all over the floor with drug residue. There were straws in one of the drawers under the sink along with a very l ..read more

How’s it going! Me and my partner are driving down to Arizona from westcoast Canada on Monday, we’re gonna be camping the entire trip. We both study anthropology and we’re hoping to check out some archaeological historical sites with camping near by as well as some really incredible desert spots.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!

Any recommendations for a low density self-sufficient community in Northern AZ in close proximity to game/agriculture food sources and residents with diverse skills? I spent two years checking Southern Arizona but couldn't find anything suitable for a homestead.

Any ideas on a good place to watch the Suns game tomorrow? My fiance and I are looking for a place where we can sit for the whole game and maybe enjoy a bite to eat. I understand that's some of you might want to give away your secret place, but if anybody is willing to share a good spot, let me know! I'm located in Mesa but willing to travel around the valley.

Myself and 6 other young adult coworker friends are going to be working in the Phoenix area from June until November this year. I'm trying to make a list of fun stuff for us all to do together. We aren't super close as we haven't worked together in person yet, but I'm looking for things that could be fun and help us get closer as the project continues.
30ish minutes or less far away from phoenix is just the ideal but if there's something really fun/cool a bit further away than that then that's totally cool.
Thanks!
