Quincy Senior High School’s theatre department will close the 2023-2024 school year with the zany farce, Deceiving Granny.   The plot is centered around newlyweds Sam and Margaret Howard.  The couple discover they are in line to inherit $3.5 million from his great-grandmother whom he has never met. ​The Friends of the Log Cabins wish to express their gratitude to Janet Summy for her many years of volunteer work in tending the Herb Garden in the Log Cabin Village. Janet created stakes with labels to help visitors distinguish between herbs and even created a video segment on the Herb Garden for the  virtual tour during the COVID pandemic. When someone was needed to be a Historical Interpreter in the 1835 D.D. Arts Quincy, America’s First Arts Council, is pleased to announce it has partnered with Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce to organize this year’s Dogwood Royalty Event. Quincy Community Theatre (“QCT”) announced today its lineup of theatre education classes for the Spring 2024 semester. A total of six classes were announced for students ranging from five years old through adulthood. Each class aims to develop a specific set of skills, such as characterization, dance, puppetry, and technical skills.
