    1I had never even heard of this author til last week. Her books sounded really good, and I almost bought the first one in paperback....but since they are on Kindle Unlimited, decided to try #1 that way.    And I loved it. The first book in this series came out in January 2021. I was not familiar with the author, but kept hearing a lot of good about the book. I got the chance to review the second book, so I bought the first one and read it in August 2022. And loved it.  Set in 1085 London, the book centers around Kit Turner, a Robin Hood type female, and Constable Jackson Forge.  More opposite characters could not be found, and these two clash in some hilarious ways.
