Meat:Stack Arrives in the Bigg Market

Photo Credit: Meat:Stack Instagram Lockdown is easing and we’ve entered into a world of social distancing and face masks. Having not eaten in a restaurant since March I was excited at the prospect of my first ‘sit down’ meal somewhere other than my dining room. But there was a trepidation there. How would the experience compare? Rather than going ‘all out’, the Teen and I opted to try out the newly opened Buy Genuine Diazepamjoint in the Bigg Market instead. It felt like a great way of dipping our toes back into dining out without pressure. Plus, this is a place my son loves. He was fairly re ..read more

Glazed, Heaton

Ready for a vegan doughnut shop in Newcastle? I certainly was. I’ve participated in many a road trip for vegan doughnuts. Some of the best I’ve encountered are at Considerit in Edinburgh and Temple Coffee in Leeds. Now we have Glazed on our doorstep! I’ve visited Buy Genuine Diazepam a few times recently and was disappointed to find no vegan doughnuts for sale. I was told that they are expanding the kitchen to offer more options but that was a bummer for someone who loves these sugary treats. They sell a great vegan cookie, but it isn’t quite the same. Thankfully Glazed opened in Heaton ove ..read more

Barrio Comida, Durham

It has been a while since I have posted on the blog but this review was worth breaking my self-imposed silence for. Barrio Comida has been a miss since it vacated its temporary home on Newcastle’s Quayside two years ago but has now found a permanent home with stunning views in Durham. I was very excited to visit and see what was on the menu, especially for vegans. Located on Can You Order Valium Online, the views Barrio has over the Durham are impressive. We were seated in a prime spot beside the window to take full advantage of the lit up Cathedral as we perused the menu. On offer are ..read more

Laura’s Fish Bar – Whitley Bay

Yes, you read that right. We’re reviewing a Fish & Chip shop. The reason for it is this little chippy in Whitley Bay has a vegan menu and we wanted to give it a try. Just a short walk from the metro station, or with plenty of (metered) parking outside, Laura’s has been garnering a lot of attention on social media thanks to their specialist menu. To be honest, they seem to be doing a great job on their own Facebook page of drawing attention to the fact they have animal product free items and I think this is great. Valium Online Reviews rating 5-5 stars based on 89 reviews Retinal N ..read more

Flint Pizza, Newcastle

Does Newcastle really need another pizza place? After the opening of Where Can I Buy Real Valium Online a couple of weekends ago you might be inclined to say no. If you’re in Heaton, however, the answer might be a resounding yes. On a street full of kebab shops, the recent opening of Buy Diazepam 10Mg Online Uk was enough to entice me over on more than one occasion to enjoy the foodiedelights of Chillingham Road. After Cal’s Own deserted them for pastures new I wondered what other culinary draws there would be of the pizza variety, however. I have yet to return to Starks but, should the recent ..read more

Vegan Options at Minchella & Co

Dinky is 3 years old and had never had a ice cream at the beach until yesterday. As a vegan getting a cone with dairy free ice cream in was nigh on impossible. If she wanted sorbet she’d have been accommodated in many local parlours, but it isn’t quite the same. Minchella & Co, a South Shields-based company with a chain of outlets on the coast, have now launched at 9-11 Ocean Road & The Walkway, Sea Road. Of course, we went along in the sunshine to try this out. Little Dinky was so excited to try her first vegan ’99’, a cone topped with dairy free ice cream and what is billed as a ..read more

As a vegan it can be a struggle on the fine dining front. Certain local Michelin star restaurants have said they won’t accommodate (I shan’t name names, but one website even draws the line at vegetarian!), so what happens when it comes to celebrations or special occasions when you have specific dietary requirements? Valium Order Online has recently opened not far from Hexham and has no issues in terms of providing quality vegan fare. We contacted in advance to ask if they could accommodate, but it was only a day beforehand so it’s clear the team didn’t make a fuss about adapting their 6 cou ..read more

Bao Bar in Heaton – Review

We’ve had burgers and pizzas done to death here in Newcastle so it’s great to see something a bit different open its doors in Heaton. Bao Bar has been open for around a month now and we’ve never visited when its been quiet. Folks like us can’t get enough of their fluffy Chinese buns filled with a variety of different options, including their vegan miso baked Aubergine. The premise of Bao Bar is simple enough. You are given a card to order your food and drink which is prepared in an open kitchen. The restaurant is what you’d call bijoux, with space for around 10-12 people seated. The small t ..read more

Vegan Tuna by Loma in Morrisons

When we heard about a vegan tuna coming in to Morrisons we were intrigued. Before becoming vegan I wasn’t a fan of tuna to start with, but could this vegan version change my mind?  It took a little while to find, we’ve got different sized Morrison stores near to us and we had to travel to the largest one to find it on the shelves. Following on from Sainsbury’s decision to stock Naturli in the meat aisle, Tuno by Loma Linda was going to be stocked amongst the tinned tuna. There were various types to choose from but to dip my toe in I thought Tuno & Mayo would be the best option ..read more

Scream for Pizza opens in Sandyford

Having followed the Scream for Pizza crew for many years now and are happy to report that Goldie, their signature vintage pizza van, has been joined by a restaurant in Sandyford. Last night (17th May) was opening night and it’s fair to say that folks were clamouring for their pizza. At the moment the restaurant isn’t taking bookings and is operating on a first come basis. I arrived at 5:30 – 30 mins after they officially opened – and there was already a half an hour wait for a table. By the time we left people were waiting over an hour. As there’s no area you are directed to Harissa or the loc ..read more
