Although Chaumette is more than a winery, wine is our passion and at the core of everything we do. In July 2021, we were devastated when a fire broke out in the building that housed our winemaking facility and offices. The building, located about one mile from the Tasting Room, Grapevine Grill and wedding barn, was the first building owners Hank and Jackie Johnson built when Chaumette was established in 1990.
