Had issues with my Three mobile/internet connection since last Thursday. It's so slow I can't watch a yt video. Three refuse to help me saying there's no issues in the area. I went for a walk around town on Sunday running speedtests and they were all fine until I got back on to North Fort Street and it became unuseable again. I've tried getting a new phone with 5G and it's nearly as bad.
Anyone else around this area on Three having issues? Does anyone know if a provider can throttle your connection in a particular area/mast but it's fine everywhere else?

Hi, I'm a student here and I was just wondering where to find a good tailor. Nothing significant in terms of tailoring, just need some items altered (sleeves shortened, trousers fitted, etc.). Do you guys have any recommendations? I live in the Old Town near the Mile if that helps. Student discount would be great too. Thanks for all the help everyone!

Has anyone here been to the zoo lately, specifically the monkey house? I’m looking to book for next week for my partner’s birthday, he really wants to see the monkeys but I see on the zoo website that the monkey house is currently shut for renovations but they can still be seen from their outdoor viewing areas. How drastic does this affect the overall monkey experience, especially for someone who really wants to see them?

Hey lovely people. My partner has a 14/yo half-sister who she feels somewhat estranged from. We live in Edinburgh and her family are all in bonnybridge (Falkirk). I suggested that she invite her sister down for a weekend and they could do something fun together, but neither of us have any idea what. I live Edinburgh and it's my favourite place in the world but I'm aware that teenagers tend to struggle to find the joy in things (like any 14 year old would just think the camera obscura, dungeons or other generic Edinburgh stuff is lame right?) Obviously everyone is different and I'm not giving ..read more

I'm trying to go to one concert a week at the moment and I'm trying to find some good places to see local bands. I already know about The Mash House and Sneaky Petes. Is anywhere else good?
