Renovation in a rental could be costly, decoration is the way to go.
BEFORE
AFTER
Photo Marie-Lyne Quirion\Apartment TherapyIn my bedroom, I had quite a big window with not a great view, so I blocked the ordinary view with my big chest of drawer. The headboard is from Spain and I have had it since I was 15 years old, now that I think about it, I am a great recycler. The bedding is from Zara Home. I used double sheets for my drapes as the pattern is identical to my pillow covers and duvet cover, it is a bit like Toile, the more the merrier.

Strictly decoration, no renovation
AFTER
Photo Marrie-Lyne Quirion/via Apartment Therapy
BEFORE After spending 18 years in the same home, I decided it was time for me to move on and create a new home. It took me quite a while to find a rental that I could decorate without having to renovate. At first site this apartment did not seem to have much to offer, but I soon realized that it had great windows and a fantastic very long balcony, already there were two things that were on my must have list. There was also a 12 inch deep alcove at one end of the apartment where the dining area ..read more

Suddenly, an unpredictable destiny has appeared in our life, it is called telework, I believe it is here to stay, time has come to create a more stable home office my lovelies.
A GOOD OFFICE CHAIR, A DESK, GOOD LIGHTING, A QUIET CORNER These are the 4 main things your home office should have. you can make your home office as beautiful and harmonious as possible.
I have to admit that Reversible Destiny philosophy that your home should be as uncomfortable as possible to have eternal life, has not hit the right spot with me, I am a bit capricious and a bit spoiled so beauty and comfort are ..read more

Grey furniture needs velvet to warm it up and bring confort into your room
Image Via Pinterest
Velvet has a history my lovelies (from the late Latin word vĭllūtus, deriving from villus, the hair of fur-bearing animals), a symbol of power and wealth, has been the favourite fabric of popes and aristocrats for centuries. In modern times, luxurious velvet is not only appreciated by the major fashion brands, but also by the world of interior design and home decoration.Text Via https://www.luigi-bevilacqua.com/en/soprarizzo-velvet/Velvet

Via Summerwood/Sonoma
If you have a prefabricated shed you could easily change it by adding different decorative details, The great Architect Mies van der Rohe often said that “God is in the details” This yellow shed above s made by Sonoma, and their sheds range from $5,000.00 to $12,000.00. You certainly can transform your existing shed for about $500.00 and it would look like a million dollars.

It has been a very long time since I have been at home with my Mom
It does seem like yesterday, but it was quite a long time ago that I was a little girl and that my Mom was always there for me.
Thinking about it my Mom was quite an extraordinary woman, she made me feel loved and wanted even though I was 5 years younger than my sister, and I knew I was a total surprise for her, she never failed to tell me that I was absolutely planned and desired.
My mother showed kindness and empathy towards people, she never missed telling us that we were privileged and should be grateful, and that we should ..read more
