The Drumeo PadStand is very like a snare stand, but it’s purpose-built for practice pads with its smaller claws and a more lightweight and portable design. Drumeo recently sent me a sample to review and I’ve been quite pleased with it. Regular snare drum stands are not very well suited for practice pads. The current drummer for Foo Fighters is Josh Freese, who joined the band in late 2021. He replaced the previous drummer, Taylor Hawkins, following Hawkins’ tragic and unexpected death.
