This is the second-longest streak of its kind in MLB history, only behind the 1987 Orioles who did it in six straight games. This wasn’t the only home run streak, as reigning rookie of the year Gunnar Henderson clubbed a homer run in each of the three games against the Twins. With the series sweep the Orioles are now half a game behind the New York Yankees for first place in t ..read more

The Baltimore Orioles starting rotation was already thin heading into 2024. Starting pitchers Kyle Bradish and John Means were on the injured list to start the season. Cole Irvin and Tyler Wells have been able to step up to the task, but the team will have to dig deeper in the depth chart. Baltimore placed Tyler Wells on the injured list with elbow inflammation on Tuesday. The O’s placed Wells on the 15-day IL, so he might not be there for long. Wells was supposed to start in the series finale against Minnesota on Wednesday, but the team will have to find help elsewhere. It’s unclear if/who th ..read more

The Baltimore Orioles have made a move just before their game against the Red Sox. The main goal is to secure the sweep against Boston, but the team made a move outside of the diamond. The New York Mets have officially traded Yohan Ramirez to the O’s. New York will get cash considerations in return, per Roch Kubatko. It’s been a season to forget for Ramirez, who only appeared in three games. He went 0-1 with an 11.81 ERA with nine hits and four walks.
