Well, this is one of the most requested blog post. I’ve received many comments saying I’ve trained Sophie well. So here I am today, let’s discuss how to train our kiddo to feed themselves. Firstly you need to understand Fine Motor Skill. Fine motor skills are important and essential for performing everyday tasks. It is the coordination of small muscles, in movements, usually involving synchronising hands and fingers with the eyes, such as when using pencils, clothing fastening, eating with spoon and etc. Not going into details with Fine motor skill here. Hello my dear readers, how are you? ? Most of you must be thinking, ‘oh Malacca, definitely food trip!‘ Even I thought so too! But now guess what? I actually brought Jacob and Sophie to the biggest indoor playground and yes it’s in Malacca! For families, we always thought there are limited activities there (or at least I did) but now, looks like Jacob and Sophie will be asking for more trips to Malacca haha. Happy Chinese New Year everybody! How’s Dog year 2018 treating you so far? ? I don’t think I have blogged about Chinese New Year before and since Vincent and I are still on ‘Sony Handycam fever’, we decided to record down some events this year! I was so busy with Chinese New Year preparations. Besides, being a new academic year for Jacob, I had to wake up early everyday to prep and send him to school. #WelcomeToMotherhood. So grateful that I decided to start spring-cleaning end of last year. Otherwise, I can only imagine… haha. Just like every other Chinese New Year, we spent the eve at home f ..read more

Lately there are many Hand Foot, Mouth Disease (HFM) cases reported in newspaper. I am honestly very worried for all the children (also adults) out there! There was a period of time that my Instagram stories were filled with videos of crying Sophie, and people must be curious of what actually happened to her. And today, I’m going to talk about HFM. It all started with Jacob coming home from enrichment class one day, he told me he got a few ulcers in his mouth and it’s painful. Jacob was diagnosed with HFM when he was 2 years old. I was out of the country and when I finally got back, Jacob was ..read more

Can you believe it? This 贪吃猫(greedy kitty) is 2 years old! The very first day I held her in arms feels just like yesterday. I still remember her first loud cry, shook the whole hospital haha! This time round, I decided to host Sophie’s birthday party at this venue, where all children wish to celebrate birthday there in their dreams – Kiddomo Universe. Sophie, of course, was super excited about it! Seeing her favourite cartoon Peppa Pig all over the venue she just couldn’t stop giggling. Jacob too, was all over the place on the event day, enjoying himself to the max. Look at these two cut ..read more
