I'm lightly entertaining the idea of commuting to work by cycling along this path to get downtown, take the Sounder up to Seattle, and then ride on one of the bike paths to Belltown. But for the Tacoma part, what would be the best way to accomplish this. Going North on Pacific Ave there are 3 bollards with the initials M. A. T.. When I first saw these I was like what?? MAT what does this even stand for? Then I saw the Tacoma Art Museum. I think the Initials would be better served if while driving by or walking they were T. A. M. I never see something like this and automatically think the first initial is the first letter in the last word. Am I the only one who thinks this? And if you think M. A. So far so OK. Sharing some info for others looking at doing this themselves or those who care to share their experience. For context, I currently commute 4 days per week working full time in Seattle while living in Tacoma. Most weeks I drive 1-2 days and use transit the other 2-3.
