I just bought a Pentax iqzoom 700 and installed new batteries ( Energizer 123 lithium) but I keep getting the E0 error on the lcd panel. I tried installing the batteries the in the inverse orientation to see if it would change anything but it did not. Anyone know what might be going on? submitted by /u/Powerful-Avocado-762 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Auto focus macro extensions

Do they exist for Pentax? Can't seem to find more than one Jessops branded one with unclear photos that might be. Auto focus Tele converters seem to exist though so I'd be surprised if extension tubes didn't. Any pointers? I do normally manual focus but if 'bug is moving' bug is also past my manual focus skills submitted by /u/venus_asmr [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Distortion with 300mm

Good Afternoon All, newbie question here. I have a K70 body and have used it with many lenses. Today I used a new 300mm F4 and got terrible distortion. Particularly where this ship met the waterline, there is a blocky "noise" that I haven't seen on other lenses. Any ideas on how to avoid this? Thanks! submitted by /u/HappySlappyBappyBear [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
