Let's say, hypothetically speaking, i built an extension to my deck without a permit. And now, i would like to build a garage on the other side of my property and theyre requiring a survey of my land.
How screwed am i if i give them an old survey before the deck was built? or should i get a new survey with the new deck?
What's the worst that can happen? What's my options

I need to be in Augusta for something on Sunday morning and will be free after 12pm. I have lived in Essex County my whole life, but have surprisingly never been to Sussex County so I want to take advantage of being there. What are some cool places to go visit in Sussex County to spend the rest of my Sunday? Any particularly good but not fancy lunch or dinner spots?

I need help here Reddit. I’m craving an all American buffet for my birthday in two weeks. Something like Golden Corral or Old Country Buffet. But for the life of me I can’t find anything even remotely close to central Jersey! For God’s sake, the closest Golden Corral is in fucking PA and I’m pretty sure Old Country Buffet was condemned during Covid.
I’m in Monmouth Country and can do a bit of a drive but really any suggestion I’ll take at this point. Please no Chinese or Japanese cause there’s a million of those around here. American or bust, baby!

I just got this from landlady's kid and nothing I'm looking up about these "new" renter laws are showing up and all I can find is articles of Landlords just trying to avoid any responsibility for what may happen to our property if any incidents occur (like this one).
We have a decent relationship with our landlady, we've lived here for 12+ years and various times helped each other out like put out literal fires, and while we plan on finding a house of our own soon, what grounds do we have to prevent them from forcing us to get insurance that I'm being told isn't even required on our end a ..read more

Hey all, simple question in the title. I've lived in Middlesex county pretty much all my life and it's not the greatest place to drive, let alone ride a motorcycle. I wanted to look into areas to move to up north, where hopefully the traffic isn't too crazy for a 125cc motorcycle so that I can ride into Harriman State Park regularly, especially on the weekends.
I don't have many opportunities to go onto NY-87, but the last time I drove on there during the weekend a few days before the eclipse, the traffic didn't seem too bad. Was curious what locals had to say about it.

Got into an accident in my schools parking garage, it was my fault, very minor accident though. Other party took pictures, took my name number, and a picture of my insurance card, and said they’d go to the police station to report it. What happens next? They left the scene of the accident, is this even legible for a police report?

The website reads...
First-Time Homebuyers: Get Up To $22,000 Toward Your Home Purchase!
Of which $15k is NJHMFA's Down Payment Assistance Program and an additional $7k is only available to first generation buyers. Sounds great! Except for the household family income limit of $123,500 for essex county which corresponds to a budget that is sure to be priced out of this forsaken housing market.
The other incentive is a Mortgage Program through participating lenders who should be offering more favorable rates, but form what I understand the difference is no more than 0.5% or so. Does anybody h ..read more

Summary:
My spouse lost her job, and her insurance (which included my son) last Fall 2023.
She applies for NJ Marketplace Insurance, along with my 13 y/o son, on the GetCovered NJ site.
We get the results like an hour later. --She gets Marketplace Plan approval right away. My son doesn't get Marketplace Plan approval, but it says he might qualify for NJ FamilyCare.
So, my wife picks out her Marketplace insurance plans and is all set within 1 week of the application. Easy Peasy.
My teen son, on the other hand, has nothing, and we had to wait 3 months to find out he wasn't eligible for NJ Famil ..read more
