Hello, dearest readers, it is good to be back! Before we delve into an abundance of news, updates and appearances, my sincerest apologies for my lengthy absence from the blog. I've been simultaneously dealing with health issues (very much on the mend now, a heartfelt thank you all for your very kind wishes) and multiple issues with the Blogger platform. The latter may lead to some changes moving forward, but for now, I'm very happy to be back as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex kick off a three-day visit to Canada, marking 'One Year To Go' until the Invictus 2025. It seems quite fitting f ..read more

There are few weeks in the calendar year as important and poignant to Prince Harry as this one. In the UK, poppies are proudly worn and events are held across the country culminating in an indescribably moving gathering at the Cenotaph in Whitehall for Remembrance Sunday. As the clock strikes eleven, a two-minute silence will be observed Sunday morning. The silence represents the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918 when the guns of Europe fell silent. As a man who proudly served Queen and country, it has always held a special place in Harry's heart. Captain Wal ..read more

During the Invictus Games last month, the Duchess of Sussex reflected on a recent visit to the Fisher House Foundation, telling veterans and families "I was really fortunate to go and visit one of the houses in Los Angeles just a couple of weeks ago, and I was so moved by everything that they do because they understand - as you do, as my husband does in creating the Invictus Games - how much the value of rehabilitation matters, not just as a solitary experience, but as a family".  Today, we learned more about the visit with clips and narration from the Duchess included in an Invictus Gam ..read more

All good things must come to an end, a phrase which certainly rang true at the Invictus Games 2023 Closing Ceremony in Dusseldorf tonight. Embed from Getty Images I remember when, almost a decade ago, Prince Harry announced his vision for the Invictus Games. At the time, he had served in the British Army for eight years and completed his time as an Apache pilot. He knew exactly how he wanted to cement his role for good. After a life-changing trip to the US where he witnessed the inspiring Warrior Games. He returned to London with a plan. Nine years later, that plan has grown into "a legacy he ..read more

It's the penultimate day of Invictus Games 2023, and as one would expect it's off to a roaring start. I'm excited to share the day's action thus far and catch up on several other updates of interest. The Duke and Duchess had the opportunity to spend the morning at Invictus village and it was filled with beautiful moments. I'm quite certain there is no other way Prince Harry would rather be spending his 39th birthday than cheering on athletes, meeting families and sitting in the stands.
