The LSP Trainees’ committee and TPDs have supported trainees doing START for many years. This has included-
a trello board
START preparation evenings (recorded on YouTube and freely available to watch back)
WhatsApp group to encourage learning with/from peers
We are looking to evaluate all of our START work, so that we can improve things going forward.

The MRCPCH Examination Excellence Training (MEET) course is aimed at all those preparing for the MRCPCH clinical exam. The day will be divided into 2 sessions. If you are planning to attend both sessions, please try to attend Session One in person at GOSH so that you are on-site ready for Session Two in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided for those attending the whole day.

We have a new date added to the LSP Simulation Programme.
This training is open to Level 1 trainees and is divided into the following:
Full Immersion days – these days will give trainees the opportunity to work in a team on the management of acute paediatric and neonatal simulated scenarios. The days are led by expert paediatric simulation faculty and will take place in a psychological safe setting with debriefing on both technical (clinical) and non-technical (human factors) skills.

I was so impressed and proud to see the incredible array of projects from within the London School on display at this year’s RCPCH conference. There were presentations, workshops and countless posters showcasing the fantastic work of this community of outstanding paediatricians.
What a privilege to be part of such an innovative and inspirational group!
