Exciting news! Our Somerset tip can now accept all hazardous waste.
Last month, we received our updated Environmental Permit for Southwood Recycling Centre, meaning we can accept even more waste into our Somerset waste disposal facility.
What has changed
Prior to this permit change, our Southwood Recycling Centre was limited to the types of waste it could receive. The licence didn’t cover any hazardous waste, therefore, we couldn’t accept waste streams such as asbestos, aerosols, batteries or paints.

CRL (Commercial Recycling) are excited to be working with Highpost Golf Club near Salisbury on a large land transformation project. Using inert waste tipped onsite by our customers, their current driving range will transformed with the addition of slopes and mounds enclosing and undulating the landscape to enhance their customers’ practice area and overall experience at the club.
