It seems hard to believe that ten years have passed since Badger GP’s inception. Paving the way for many topical F1 websites, its humour and engaging style of writing has become the website’s signature, becoming a hit with like-minded fans around the world. What’s even more surprising is the amount of change the sport has witnessed in that same decade. So let’s take a trip down memory lane and reminisce on F1’s days of yore, through the eyes of Badger GP of course. Ham’s still Champ Well, some things never change, do they? Despite the ten years which have passed, we still find Lewis Hamilton a ..read more

The Top Dog for Abu Dhabi is…
Badger GP - For fans of Formula 1

So this is it. The sun has set on the desert, the season and Fernando Alonso’s illustrious F1 career. Sadly, Badger GP is also calling it a day. For one last time, I have the privilege of picking Top Dog…and I have to admit it was a bit of a head scratcher. My trusty note book has no fewer than SIX names written down as serious contenders for the coveted canine crown. Sainz, Max, Lewis, Leclerc and Ricciardo were all on the list. Terrific drives all. But after much pencil chewing, my mind is made up. Who is our top Abu Dhabi dog? Which mutt mastered his moves around the marina? Pop that sparkl ..read more

For the last time in 2018, and for the final time here at Badger GP, here are your reasons to watch all the action this weekend! A new record for Lewis? Lewis Hamilton is on the verge of setting a new record this weekend if he finishes on the podium. Badgerometer Brazil 2018 Edition
Badger GP - For fans of Formula 1

Interlagos served up a cracker; proper racing around a proper track. Champions were crowned and rivalries intensified. Trying to come away with just 5 talking points was a tall order, but here are Chris Fawcett’s picks as the season’s end draws nearer. Kimi: a man reborn? It seems easy on paper to offload a 39-year old Finn who, up until a month ago hadn’t stood on the top step of the podium since 2013. But when you look across the season, Kimi is having one of his strongest and most consistent at Ferrari. While it wouldn’t be my place to suggest that Ferrari are letting the wrong man leave at ..read more

A farewell from BadgerGP.com
Badger GP - For fans of Formula 1
by Adam Le Feuvre

Just a little over 10 years ago, I setup a blog called “F1 Badger”, for a bit of fun. A year or so later the site was gathering quite a following and gained some additional writing talent. To keep Bernie happy, the site was renamed Badger Grand Prix, or rather, Badger GP.  Now, a decade later, the time has come to call it a day for BadgerGP.com and after the 2018 season, we’ll be closing down. It may sound like a shame, but instead I like to think that it’s a celebration. For just over a decade Badger has published over 5,000 articles, had several million reads and been enjoyed by fans of ..read more

The Top Dog for Brazil is…
Badger GP - For fans of Formula 1

Well, Brazil was rather brilliant, I thought. It’s amazing what some good old-fashioned overtaking can do to lift the spirits. And there was passing a-plenty around the legendary corners of Interlagos. Come the chequered flag, there was certainly a carnival atmosphere in the Mercedes camp as they became team champs for an astonishing 5th year on the bounce. https://twitter.com/MercedesAMGF1/status/1061900397445550080 Yes, the final piece of the 2019 championship jigsaw is now in place, but there’s still the puzzle of who is Top Dog? Try as I might to share the treats, there’s one cheeky pup wh ..read more
