Five years ago, under the hallowed dome of the Royal Albert Hall, the idea of Agile Ageing began. As Fatboy Slim's 'Right Here, Right Now' kicked off the BBC's inaugural 'Ibiza Proms', we saw how culture, technology, and a new generation of older adults were blurring generational lines. If this year has taught us anything, it is there are few guarantees in life. Failing to imagine how our older selves will live, however, does guarantee a few surprises when you get there. If you’ve kept up to date with the AAA’s work this year, you’ll know we've been working to bridge that gap by helping establish a pioneering set of ISO Standards for our neighbourhoods of the future. But as we cast our eye around the world, what other evidence is there of people or organisations prep ..read more

Furthermore, 55 per cent of over 55s would be happy to try using a health app, desig ..read more

Greetings Agile Ageing Alliance,  I am your new 20 something news and social media editor. My predecessor Adam has been covering AAA news for the past 5 years and when I learned AAA  was seeking a replacement I was really keen to grab the baton. Why is that? Well recently, my nan, a proud home-owner, finally gave into the idea of a care home. I’ll always remember her stories of how she worked multiple jobs, day and night to be able to afford the house, which at the time, cost a few t ..read more
